Terms of Service

By accessing or using eWorkConnection ("the Service", "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users including free users, paid subscribers, recruiters, and visitors. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

eWorkConnection provides:

• AI-powered job search across public job boards and websites
• Resume analysis and ATS resume generation
• Cover letter, interview preparation and career content generation
• Recruiter candidate search and outreach tools where Talent Desk is enabled by launch settings or assigned access
• Job application tracking

eWorkConnection is NOT:

• An employment agency or staffing firm
• A recruiter or headhunter
• A guarantor of employment or interview outcomes
• A legal, financial, or career advisor

To use the Service you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age (18 in some jurisdictions)
• Provide accurate information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use

You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI content is generated based on your inputs and may not be accurate
• You will never submit false information on a job application
• eWorkConnection is not liable for outcomes resulting from AI-generated content
• AI output does not constitute professional career, legal, or financial advice
• Job listings are sourced from public internet — always verify with the employer
• Match scores are AI estimates — not guarantees of suitability

eWorkConnection may launch country by country. Features, plans, prices, job sources, recruiter tools, free-access periods, and legal notices may vary based on the country or data zone configured for your account.

• Only administrator-enabled launch countries may appear in the app.
• Free-access campaigns may have a country-specific start date and end date.
• After a free-access period ends, your account may move to the Free plan unless you upgrade or an administrator extends the campaign.
• We may delay, disable, or modify availability in a country to comply with local law, tax requirements, privacy requirements, source restrictions, or payment constraints.
• Recruiter/Talent Desk may be launched after Job Seeker or limited to selected users during testing and controlled rollout.

Trial / Launch Access: Trial and free-access periods are controlled by country and may be changed by eWorkConnection. No credit card is required for free access unless stated during checkout.

Paid Plans: Subscriptions are billed monthly unless otherwise stated. Prices may be localized by country. Current pricing displayed in the app or at eworkconnections.org/#pricing.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your Account settings. Cancellation takes effect at end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused days.

Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time paid subscriptions. Contact eworkconnections@gmail.com within 7 days of first charge.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Stripe. We never store card details. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Your use of the Service is subject to the laws and rules applicable in your location and the country/data zone configured for your account. You agree not to use the Service from a country where the Service has not been launched or where use would violate applicable law.

We may assign accounts, job sources, Talent Desk access, and administrative controls to a country or region. Regional data storage may be implemented through separate Supabase projects/databases, separate environment variables, or other regional infrastructure as we expand.

• EU/UK users: use may require GDPR/UK GDPR notices, international transfer safeguards, and regional hosting before broad launch.
• India users: use is subject to India DPDP requirements, including notice, grievance handling, and any government-notified transfer restrictions.
• Colombia users: launch may require review of Colombian personal data authorization, transmission/transfer rules, and privacy notices before public availability.

This section does not reduce your statutory privacy rights. If local law gives you mandatory rights, those rights continue to apply.

Some features require an Anthropic API key. If you use your own key:

• You are responsible for all API usage and associated costs under your key
• Your key is stored locally in your browser — we never see or store it
• You must comply with Anthropic's Usage Policy
• You must not use the Service to generate content that violates Anthropic's policies

The platform API key provided for free-tier users is rate-limited and may not be used for bulk scraping, automated requests, or circumventing plan limits.

eWorkConnection uses AI to surface publicly available professional profiles (job seekers marked "Open to Work", recruiters with public profiles). By using these features, you agree:

• You will use third-party profile information solely for legitimate professional outreach
• You will not upload, store, request, or enrich third-party personal information unless it is publicly available, voluntarily published, or the person has consented
• You will not spam, harass, or contact individuals for non-professional purposes
• You will comply with LinkedIn's Terms of Service when using LinkedIn URLs
• You will not circumvent or violate any platform's terms through this service
• You accept that public profile data may be outdated or inaccurate

eWorkConnection does not scrape private data and is not responsible for the accuracy of publicly sourced profiles. Individuals may request removal by contacting us. We may remove any profile, lead, message, or stored record that appears to contain non-public personal information, sensitive information, or information used outside a legitimate professional context.

Recruiters using eWorkConnection agree to:

• Only contact job seekers for genuine employment opportunities
• Respect job seekers' recruiter visibility consent preferences
• Not use candidate data for purposes other than recruitment
• Share candidate leads only when the data is public, business/contact information is voluntarily published, or the candidate has consented
• Comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws
• Not discriminate in candidate selection based on protected characteristics
• Not use the platform to collect data for resale or list-building outside the platform

You must not use eWorkConnection to:

• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent job applications
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Scrape, crawl or bulk-download data from the platform
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to access source code
• Transmit malware, viruses or harmful code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, stalk or threaten any user or third party
• Generate content that is discriminatory, defamatory or illegal
• Circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or access controls
• Use the service for any purpose that competes directly with eWorkConnection without written permission

The eWorkConnection platform, logo, design, and proprietary technology are owned by eWorkConnection LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without written permission.

AI-generated content (cover letters, resumes, interview answers) created using your inputs is owned by you. You grant us a limited license to process and display this content to provide the service.

Job listings displayed are sourced from public third-party websites and belong to their respective owners. We do not claim ownership of third-party content.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Job listings are accurate, current, or available
• AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose
• Using the service will result in employment, interviews, or any career outcome

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EWORKCONNECTION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability — if you are located in such a jurisdiction, the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless eWorkConnection, its officers, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Any content you submit, including false or misleading job application materials
• Your violation of any third party's rights

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You will receive notice where reasonably practical.

You may terminate your account at any time from Dashboard → Account → "Delete My Account". Upon termination, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at eworkconnections@gmail.com. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under JAMS rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for IP violations.

For EU/UK users: these dispute resolution provisions do not affect your statutory rights under applicable law.

eWorkConnection may display lawful 18+ adult event entertainment listings only when explicitly enabled by an administrator and the user. This category is limited to legal performance or event entertainment work and excludes prostitution, sexual services, paid dating, sugar arrangements, escort sex services, trafficking, minors, and illegal services. By enabling Adult Events search, you confirm:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You are legally permitted to view such content in your jurisdiction
• You understand that all listings require you to independently verify venue legality, safety, age requirements, contract terms, and legitimacy
